I remember Carolyn well. Friends and myself went on TVW to play concentration. I was also an East Perth supporter and saw them both at a game. Mr Tannock was a teacher at Mounting Lawley High to from memory. My High School.

I also was on Children’s Channel 7 prob about 1963/4 Taffy the Lion was on. Someone asked me if I had brothers and sisters, I said, ‘No’, only Michael, Cathy, Debbie and David! Ha ha. They also asked me why shouldn’t you swallow chewing gum, I said ‘ because your stomach will stick together ‘ why I I remember this so clearly I don’t know?

I am trying to trace an interview I took part in on the Mickey Mouse club some time late 1963. It was shortly after my dad was killed during the building of Fremantle port authority building any information would be most helpful

I was on the Children’s Channel 7 television show, as a child. I remember partisipating in a question and answer portion of that show. I’m not sure which part of the show it was named. It was around 1960s sometime. Rolf Harris and I think Carolyn Noble were there. Also, I auditioned, (singing), in front of Coralie Condon, when I was a little older maybe pree teen age. Many years latter, in a different town, I modeled in a charity parade hosted by Jenny Clemisha, now known as Jenny Seaton. Apologies if I spelt any names incorrectly.

I was also on childrens channel 7 with my 2 brothers and sister. I think it was around 1966. It would b so fantastic to obtain this footage. I was only about 7. Can anyone assist ? Thankyou.

Yes Alfie, it was about 1960.

I do recall that time we were on Children’s Channel 7. I was the Base drummer in that band. It was hot. We were in uniform – grey shorts, long socks scarf & beret etc. We also played at our school – the Yokine Primary School at assemblies and fetes.
Strange to think that 7 years later I would be a cameraman in that same Studio.

Why on a sunday morning in Albany all these years later I looked up Carolyn Noble I don’t know. I was in the 1st Yokine Air Scouts with bugle and drum band both started by a George Hayhurst. We went to the 7 studio and played there. I counted 32 spotlights on us.. hot! We met Carolyn Noble lovely lady. I still have the mickey mouse club badge that we were all given. This was about 1960 ?

I know this is late Christine, but I work at 7 and we get heaps of requests for old vision, including old shows made in the studios, and many requests for football games, especially old grand finals. A lot of our original tapes were sent to the Battye Library .. but unsure what they have. Since digital came in, we don’t have the facilities now to dub any old vision, as the machines are dusty, broken and are just idle in the old tape room. I am sorry I cannot be more helpful to you, but do try the Battye Library and see how you go. Best regards Lesley

I can’t remember the year but as a kid I was on Children’s Channel 7 with Carlolyn Noble, Captain Jim and Seaman o’dokidy not sure if I spelt that right. I am not clear as to what the occasion was but I was on the show because it was my birthday. I presume it was ether celibrating the aniversary of channel 7 or childrens channel 7 or something. I just remember being asked by captain Jim if I could sing or dance and I just got so embarrased I coudn’t answer him. As a side issue my siblings and myself were also dollar donors on Telethon in 1968

hi.i just happened to type in childrens channel seven with carolyn noble in the 1960’s and this fantastic site came up..
what a great piece to find.
i have been trying to work out when myself and my brother were on the show,and i am sure it was about sept/oct of 1963,when taffy the lion was on there.
if anyone can help me out here i am wondering how to go about getting a tape or dvd of that show so as to give it to my brother next feb for his b-day,………any takers???? and does anyone know what i am talking about???
help would be greatly appreciated. hope to get a reply.
