It was so wonderful to see you on TV again of late (Jeff Newman’s leaving, the 50th anniversary special). You were the best.

Whenever my Mum would get dressed up to the hilt, she would get her hair done like yours. I thought she looked fantastic. I remember at one stage you would curl the hair around your ears. When my Mum did this, I called them “Trina curls”! I have to say this… you were my first love.

Thanks for all the memories with these wonderful photos.

P.S., why didn’t they really mention “Earlybirds” on the 50th anniversary special? My cousins and I would plan our holidays around waking up to watch Earlybirds to the end each day. Never won a competition!!
