		<description><![CDATA[Stan was the best commercial radio boss I ever worked for. Innovative, encouraging, fair-minded, always gave praise when deserved and was firm when it wasn&#039;t. I had the greatest respect for him. He offered me a job when I hadn&#039;t even applied, drawing me back into radio after I&#039;d spent three years in artist and record promotion. He wrote me a glowing reference when I resigned to seek other pastures in the east. He was also generous with his time in retirement, visiting our Broadcasting classes at WAAPA to talk to the students about the great old days of (analogue) seat-of-the-pants broadcasting.]]></description>
