He was a dear friend of my then husband Aldo who sadly passed away soon after Peter on 30/12/2011. Peter played at our wedding in 1977 at The Esplanade Channel 9 function room.

So I found an add in the local paper which had Peters name attached. I couldn’t believe that it was the same Peter Piccini that I knew from ‘The Channel Niners Club’
He gave me lessons every week untill he had to move away from his home in Labouchere road.
Peter and Fina were very good people and I enyojed every visit I made to there home.

I just received your card today and heard the news of Peter. I am so sorry for your loss. I think of you both so fondly and treasure the time we spent together during my visit in Perth. The many phone calls from the states and emails that we shared over the years have created a special bond between us. Peter was truly a special man. He was always so jovial, up beat, and interested in hearing the latest news of what was going on in my life. I am privileged to have had the opportunity to know him and connect with a cousin through time and miles. My heart felt condolences to you Fina. I will miss Peter greatly.
