TVW CHANNEL 7 REUNION

A note from the Reunion Committee

Thanks for all the acknowledgements (those below are just a sample). What a fabulous celebration! So many happy, smiling faces and so many stories. You’re a great bunch. You made it work.

Our thanks again to Jill Glass and to Seven for giving us the use of the premises and then providing us with terrific logistic support.

We were knocked out, as I’m sure you were, with the depth and quality of the display in Studio One. Hats off to Keith Geary, Peter Croft and Peter Partridge who assisted.

We’re keeping the Reunion Attendees page up so you can maintain contact. After all, the real point of the Reunion is to remind us to keep in touch with friends.

Dear TVW 50th Reunion Committee

… Thank you to everyone who organised the 50 year reunion last Sunday, October 18. My husband Ric and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.  It was so lovely seeing so many familiar faces, it felt like a family reunion.

Thank you again …

… What can I say but a warm and sincere thank you for the wonderful 50 year celebration yesterday.

It was lovely to catch up on old work colleagues, recognising some faces and having a few embarrassing senior’s moments in not recognising others!  All in all a wonderful day.

Thank you again …

… You should be very proud of your efforts in arranging a very successful Reunion.

The relaxed and friendly atmosphere would not have been possible without the thoughtful prior preparation.

Top job people – we both really enjoyed ourselves.

Your efforts are very much appreciated.

Kind regards …

… It was really a great experience.

Thanks... and well done …

Everyone really enjoyed the reunion yesterday …

… Congratulations on a job well done! - Congratulations to everyone that helped and assisted to make yesterday such a fantastic/wonderful/stupendous/happy/good memories and good feeling day.

I was so happy, and went home on a high and have been calling friends to let them know I had such a great day. One of the best days of my life - meeting up with people I knew and worked with so many years ago!.

It is so heart warming to reminisce.

My very best wishes for a job well done …

… Thanks for a very nice day; it was great catching up old friends …

… Just a quick note to thank you for organising yesterday’s soiree, it was most enjoyable and was obviously a great success, congratulations to everybody involved …

…Thank you all so much for a very special day yesterday.

How exciting it was to see all those old (and not so old), friends and colleagues again. It was an afternoon of surprises, reminiscing, happiness, some sadness with news of those no longer around, and sheer joy at recognizing faces not seen for many years.

Congratulations on putting together such a well co-ordinated event and sincere thanks for enabling us to share in the celebration of this important milestone in WA TV history.

I had a ball! …

…What a great day. I couldn’t believe the number of people I knew and remembered. And all the equipment I either work on or designed and built on display – what memories. A job Very Well Done.

Thanks a lot. All the best …

… A quick note to say thank you for an extremely good day.  It was a great experience to catch up with people I knew all those days ago and a great game to play trying to spot people I recognised …

… It was a wonderful day and I thank you for giving me something to remember with great pleasure at this late stage of my life.

All the best for your future …

… Just a few words to say, congratulations on the wonderful and very successful 50th Reunion yesterday.

The effort and arrangements that you all contributed resulted in another very successful Seven event and it could only make those who attended proud that they had worked for or do work for a great company.

P.S. John Young, you haven't lost the touch mate …
