Jan Maher (nee Swift) was a Graphic Designer with TVW from 1983 to 1989. Jan married TVW Promos Editor Marty Maher, who worked for TVW from 1986 to 1997. They now live in Victoria.
The photos provided here represent Seven staff on social occasions, from the mid 1980’s to the early 1990’s.

I still remember walking towards the Sheriton Hotel wearing that bumble bee outfit & thinking ‘I hope I’ve got this right….this definetly is fancy dress & not a formal occassion’.
My children found that photo & pinned it up in our meals area. They seem to take particular delight showing anyone that comes into the house. The boys seem to like it for its big chuckle value & the girls as an opportunity to be darn right cruel!

Reggie’s passing has brought back my TVW memories again. Great times and a truly beautiful gentleman that brought happiness to many children of WA. Fat Cat will live on in our hearts, RIP Reg Whiteman aka Fat Cat
